The Journal of Research, Science, Studies, and Knowledge (RICES) is an open-access scientific publication focused on the social and human sciences, aimed at the national and international community. Its objective is to publish research and review articles, written in Spanish and English, in the areas of economics, politics, pedagogy, naval science, security and defense, and other socio-humanistic sciences. RICES is published semiannually and selects its content through a double-blind peer-review process. Regarding its ethics policy, RICES adheres to the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). RICES is fully funded by Universu S.A.S. and operates under the open access model; that is, there are no processing or publication fees for authors.
